Plants at school

A very hot news item : the air pollution around schools. We all worry about the health of school children. Actions are set up to determine how serious the situation is, we are trying to create car-free area’s around schools etc. but we can do more things such as adding green to our classrooms. 

Schools are often located within urban - or village centers and do not always have the luxury to provide a lot of green for children to play in. But there is an alternative! By integrating plants in the classrooms and common areas where pupils and teachers are present! We no longer need to emphasize that plants provide better air quality, which has been demonstrated in multiple researches. We just have to take action and start to integrate more green in the schools. We don’t need to plant a rainforest or turn them into a jungle, but bring in plants in the right location Soon we will notice students feeling better at school, able to concentrate better and have fewer physical complaints.
