Veolia Brussel
Following
the acquisition of Suez by Veolia, the new Belgian entity needed a larger space
to accommodate the activities of the newly integrated company.
We teamed
up with Colliers and Bulo to build the new workspace in the five-story building
at Boulevard Poincaré 78, next to the Brussels South Station. We created a
modern work environment that meets the operational requirements of the new
group and that makes employees feel at home.
In line
with Veolia’s values, sustainability was a main driver for the renovation; Bulo
was chosen as a local furniture supplier to shorten the circuit, the flooring
was made of a rewoven recycled material and we flooded the space with greenery.
We placed a
large variety of different plants in stone vases and added a few statement
pieces like a large rounded white planter. In the foyer, we integrated the
greenery into the central sitting bench and placed a 4 meters high tree.
The overall
atmosphere of the building turned out to be soft and inviting, thanks to the
abundant natural light, the clever design and the lush greenery.
